Software Development Engineer III (Backend) - Contacts

Our partner is looking for a Software Development Engineer III (Backend) - Contacts based in India. As a Software Development Engineer III, you will build and evolve the backend systems powering a core CRM platform used by businesses worldwide. You will work hands-on as an Individual Contributor, owning high-impact initiatives across the Contacts domain and helping shape scalable technical solutions. Your work will support contact records, views, filtering, segmentation, and other foundational capabilities used throughout the broader product ecosystem. You will design reliable microservices and APIs capable of handling large-scale workloads and millions of daily interactions. The role combines backend engineering, distributed systems, performance optimization, observability, and technical problem-solving. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams in a remote-first environment focused on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
