Position Summary

This is an individual contributor role.

Responsible for directing all aspects of customer benefit plan implementation of self- funded new business clients. Partners with all key internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify and address critical implementation issues ensuring customer expectations are consistently satisfied or exceeded.

What you will do

  • Under general direction, leads the planning and execution of key organizational projects, ensuring consistent alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Develops project plans and team member assignments, defines specific deliverables and deadlines, and establishes project milestones for the organization.
  • Conducts project post-mortems to capture and apply lessons learned to identify areas for improvement and shares process enhancements to optimize project management practices.
  • Implements and enforces quality control processes to identify and resolve any deviations or deficiencies.
  • Develops change management plans and strategies to minimize resistance and ensure successful adoption.
  • Identifies project risks and issues, develops risk mitigation strategies, and establishes contingency plans.
  • Prepares and delivers project progress reports, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Directs individuals to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjust priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining the highest level of attention to detail.
  • Coaches more junior colleagues in current project management techniques, processes, and responsibilities.



Required Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in project management, healthcare implementation, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of healthcare client-facing experience, including direct management of client relationships, issue resolution, and successful delivery of healthcare products, services, or implementation initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks, recommend solutions, and drive issues to resolution within established timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Proven execution and delivery skills, including prioritizing work, managing competing deadlines, coordinating cross-functional resources, and achieving established business objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).



Preferred Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding and strong familiarity with Aetna’s organizations representing products, services, administration, operations and systems.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.



Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of professional work experience and education.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $119,340.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
