QA Engineer — Shopify Platform (Weekday Rotation)

This role is responsible for maintaining the quality, stability, and performance of a high-volume Shopify commerce platform during weekday evening or overnight hours.You will provide continuous QA coverage across storefront, checkout, subscriptions, payments, themes, and third-party integrations.The position combines real-time production monitoring with structured manual and automated testing of new releases and platform changes.You will play a critical role in identifying customer-facing and revenue-impacting issues before they affect the wider business.Working closely with developers, you will document defects, validate fixes, participate in release reviews, and escalate urgent issues when required.Because the role operates outside standard daytime hours, strong ownership, independent decision-making, and proactive asynchronous communication are essential.You will also maintain clear shift handoffs to ensure uninterrupted QA coverage and a consistent view of platform health across the fu...
