About the Team OpenAI’s Product & Research Communications team helps people understand our technology, what it makes possible, and how to use it. We work closely with teams across the company to bring new products and research to the world, tell stories grounded in real experiences, and build trusted relationships with journalists. About the Role We’re looking for a Consumer Product Communications Lead to shape how people understand and experience ChatGPT and OpenAI’s consumer-facing products. You’ll lead product communications strategy, launches, and proactive campaigns, and manage the agency partner supporting this work. You’ll develop a clear narrative for our consumer products and bring it to life through compelling launches, useful demonstrations, and stories about how people use AI in their everyday lives. You’ll build momentum between announcements, finding fresh ways to reach new audiences while earning the trust of the people who use our products most deeply.
