Backend Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Backend Developer based in India. This is a remote, contract opportunity for a mid-to-senior Backend Developer focused on building reliable and scalable Python services.You’ll design and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that support cloud-based applications and business-critical workloads.The role has a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure, with opportunities to work across cloud infrastructure, containers, automation, and deployment.You’ll contribute across the development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing, CI/CD, and production operations.Working within an Agile/Scrum environment, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical decisions and code reviews.The position offers an opportunity to work with modern backend technologies while solving challenges around scalability, performance, security, and reliability.Additional experience in data engineering, Go, React, infrastructure as code, or event-driven systems can further expand your impact.
