Job Summary

Idira, part of Palo Alto Networks, are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Specialist to drive the growth of our Agentic Identity Security business across the Nordics region.

The ideal candidate will operate in a high-growth environment at scale, thrive in driving innovation, have a solid background in cybersecurity sales, and a deep understanding of security solutions. They will have a proven track record of developing strong customer relationships and executing strategies that support rapid expansion and success. This role requires a strategic thinker who excels in collaboration with internal teams, engages effectively with customers, and drives revenue growth through the sale of complex solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work with a regional sales team to establish and maintain customer relationships at the executive and business decisionmaker level including but not limited to CISO, CIO, and other executives responsible for Identity & Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Hold regional responsibility for meeting and exceeding established sales quota associated with Idira’s Workforce Identity solutions (IAM, IGA, Endpoint Security).

  • Develop & present compelling business cases to customers, maintain expert-level knowledge of all elements of the business case, including the drivers of cost, benefits, and risk.

  • Partner closely with subject matter experts, solutions engineers, and professional services teams to align the technology architecture to the customer's desired business outcomes.

  • Work closely with post sales teams to ensure successful product adoption and realisation of the full value of customer’s technology investment.

  • Work with channel partners, resellers and systems integrators to penetrate new accounts and extend reach of Idira’s Workforce Identity solutions in the assigned geography.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field sales experience focusing on key customer accounts and delivering value to Enterprise level accounts. Experience as an overlay sales specialist is a bonus.

  • Extensive platform selling experience in complex sales with multiple buying centers.

  • In depth knowledge on Identity & Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Identity Security best practices and technologies and other vendors and products in that space. An emphasis on vendors and technologies in use across large enterprises for both on-premises and cloud is preferred.

  • Established trusted relationships with, and experience presenting to, CIOs and CISOs with the ability to influence and drive strategic conversations.

  • Expertise in applying complex solution sales methodologies to drive results.

  • Experience working with channel partners and a deep understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market strategy.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment while collaborating effectively with sales engineers and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience operating in a continuous adoption, expansion, and upsell sales motion within a matrixed sales organisation is preferred

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and other locations approximately 30% of time.
