Wastewater Pretreatment Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Wastewater Pretreatment Specialist based in the United States. This part-time role focuses on evaluating wastewater discharges and developing practical, technically defensible pretreatment requirements.You will assess existing and anticipated discharge conditions across current and future commercial operations.The position combines wastewater compliance expertise, field investigation, sampling, laboratory-data interpretation, and engineering analysis.Your work will help identify pollutants of concern and assess potential impacts on collection and treatment systems.You will contribute to the development of local limits, management practices, and future pretreatment requirements.The role requires strong knowledge of environmental regulations, particularly the Clean Water Act, alongside excellent documentation and communication skills.This opportunity also involves facility inspections and may require access to secured government facilities and IT networks.
