This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP of Engineering - Applications based in the United States. As VP of Engineering - Applications, you will lead the end-user-facing engineering organization and help scale the company’s software development capabilities as its customer base and market presence grow. You will oversee roughly half of the engineering organization, guiding multiple development squads and strengthening technical execution, talent, and engineering practices. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical depth across distributed computing, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise software development. You will work with modern technologies including Java, Kotlin, Python, TypeScript/React, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure. You’ll operate in a highly collaborative, globally distributed, remote-first environment where curiosity, transparency, and continuous improvement are deeply valued. Your leadership will directly influence product quality, engineering velocity, team development, and the ability to deliver exceptional experiences for industrial customers.
