VDI / Citrix Engineer Sr Principal

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VDI / Citrix Engineer Sr Principal based in the United States. This senior engineering role focuses on designing, deploying, integrating, and maintaining enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. You will architect secure, scalable, and high-performance VDI solutions supporting mission-critical customer programs. The environment includes Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), AWS WorkSpaces, Windows and Linux systems, and modern infrastructure-as-code practices. You will work across cloud engineering, systems administration, identity and access management, automation, and large-scale system integration. The role combines hands-on technical engineering with architecture, documentation, and operational support. You will also have opportunities to prototype new solutions, improve cloud platforms, and contribute to technical standards and best practices.
