Telematics Coverage Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Telematics Coverage Engineer based in United States. This role focuses on expanding the breadth and depth of vehicle telemetry data captured across diverse on- and off-highway vehicle architectures. You will research OEM telematics offerings, analyze vehicle network traffic, and develop practical methods for capturing and interpreting valuable vehicle data. The position combines hands-on vehicle debugging, log analysis, data scraping, and reverse engineering to expand telemetry coverage. You will drive coverage initiatives from initial research through validation and production readiness. Your work will directly support new telematics capabilities and provide deeper insights for customers. The role offers a highly technical environment where engineering judgment, curiosity, and practical problem solving are essential. You will collaborate with global, cross-functional teams while occasionally traveling to customer locations to validate solutions on real vehicles.
