Technical Writer / Knowledge Management Specialist

Our partner is looking for a Technical Writer / Knowledge Management Specialist based in United States. This role combines technical writing, knowledge management, and documentation governance within a complex government technology environment. You will translate highly technical engineering concepts into clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation. A major focus will be building and managing a knowledge management system from the ground up and maintaining it throughout the program lifecycle. You will support modernization, UI/UX, systems engineering, and compliance initiatives through high-quality documentation and training materials. The role requires close collaboration with technical teams while also working independently under general direction. You will contribute to critical program deliverables, stakeholder communications, and documentation supporting security and operational requirements. The position is remote, with periodic travel to Columbus, Ohio for onsite meetings.
