Staff Software Engineer, Notifications

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Notifications based in India. This is a high-impact Staff Engineering role focused on building and evolving a highly reliable, multi-tenant notification platform at production scale. You’ll own the architecture behind how alerts are routed, enriched, escalated, and delivered across multiple channels. The role combines distributed systems engineering, workflow orchestration, integration architecture, and platform design. You’ll shape technical patterns that enable other engineers to build reliable integrations as the notification ecosystem grows. You’ll work across teams to define durable contracts and resolve complex dependencies around alert ingestion, classification, and security signals. This is an opportunity to influence both the technical direction and the reliability of a critical platform capability.
