Staff Software Engineer, Frontend

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Frontend based in India. This is a high-impact frontend engineering role focused on defining how a rapidly evolving product should be built and scaled. You will own frontend architecture, component systems, performance, tooling, and engineering standards rather than simply delivering individual features. The role combines deep technical leadership with strong product judgment and close collaboration with designers and engineers. You will help establish scalable patterns for a large TypeScript and React codebase while keeping product delivery moving quickly. Generative AI and coding agents are already central to the development workflow, creating new challenges around reliability, safety, and engineering practices. You will also mentor engineers across India and the US while shaping frontend standards for the future.
