As Salesforce Architect, you will be the technical backbone of Marqeta's Business Systems team, a lean, high-impact group that serves as the internal Salesforce platform team for Go-To-Market (GTM), Product Support, and Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC). This is a heavily hands-on lead individual contributor role, you will be writing code, configuring the platform, and directly solving hard technical and business problems, not just producing designs for others to build.
We are looking for someone who has genuinely operated as an architect, owning architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and their consequences for at least 2 years, not an engineer aspiring to grow into the title. You will set the architectural direction for our Salesforce platform, conduct code reviews, lead architecture and design sessions, build and maintain the technical backlog, proactively identify gaps in systems and processes, and independently drive solutions to completion.
