As a Staff Product Manager at Vanta, you will be responsible for the overall efficacy and impact of the product features in your area of responsibility. You will own the customer voice for your product area and prioritization for your cross-functional team of designers and engineers. You will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-departmental partners like Sales, Marketing and Customer Service to deeply serve customers throughout their Vanta journey.

The Scoping & Segmentation team at Vanta builds the tools that help customers manage complex compliance programs as their organizations grow. Companies use Vanta to stay organized across multiple frameworks and business units, and this team makes it simple to define what’s in scope for each area of their business. In this role, you’ll make it easier for customers to manage their compliance work across teams, track progress, and stay audit-ready with less manual effort. You’ll shape how Vanta uses AI to help customers manage millions of assets, simplify setup, recommend next steps, and surface insights that help customers prevent issues before they happen. By improving how customers organize and automate their programs, you’ll help Vanta scale to meet the needs of larger and more sophisticated companies.

What you’ll do as a Staff Product Manager, Scoping & Segmentation at Vanta:

- Deeply understand our customers and our market

- Own the vision and strategy for Scoping & Segmentation and play a key role in defining the broader Vanta GRC strategy

- Identify opportunities to leverage AI to enhance product differentiation and deliver measurable value to customers

- Distill complex problems and opportunities into clearly prioritized product goals for your team, collaborate with partner teams, and drive high-quality execution in collaboration with stakeholders across the company

- Deliver a high quality product addressing key customer pain points and creating opportunities for competitive advantage

How to be successful in this role:

- Have 10+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record for delivering high-quality products to customers in the SaaS/B2B space

- Bring experience and drive to ship AI-powered products, including rapid experimentation, rigorous evaluation, and LLM prompt tuning to ensure high product quality

- Possess a customer-focused mindset, proactively reach out to customers and prospects, while simultaneously partnering with go-to-market teams

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to bring clarity to complex problem areas through data-driven decision making
