Staff Product Manager, OpenTelemetry

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Product Manager, OpenTelemetry based in the United States. This is a Staff-level product leadership role focused on making OpenTelemetry onboarding, instrumentation, and telemetry management simpler, more reliable, and more actionable.You will own the end-to-end customer journey from an uninstrumented workload to healthy, useful telemetry and meaningful observability outcomes.The role spans SDK instrumentation, automatic instrumentation, OpenTelemetry Collectors, configuration, troubleshooting, validation, and downstream product activation.You will shape strategy across multiple engineering and product teams while creating a coherent experience for both developers and AI-powered coding agents.Using customer research, product data, and market insight, you will identify friction points and prioritize improvements that increase activation and time to value.You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Documentation, Developer Relations, Product Marketing, and go-to-market teams in a globally distributed environment.This is an opportunity to influenc...
