About the Role Lambda runs a usage-based GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) cloud at significant and fast-growing scale, and the Billing platform is the system of record for all of it. Metering a large GPU fleet accurately is a hard distributed-systems problem wrapped in a hard product problem, and it has to be right every time, because customers choose Lambda in part because they can trust the bill. Transparent, predictable pricing with no egress fees is a core reason customers pick us over hyperscaler clouds, and this role is where that promise gets engineered into the product.
