Our mission is to be the catalyst that protects ocean health by restoring blue carbon ecosystems, such as kelp forests, mangrove forests, coral reefs, seagrass meadows, and coastal watersheds. To effectively manage our full-scope accounting and associated administrative functions, we are looking for an organized and efficient CPA with required experience in the non-profit sector. This position is a full-time role reporting to the Finance Director, You will be responsible for the ledger, for the proper documentation of policies and procedures and the production of financial statements, along with safe record keeping. The successful candidate will also be expected to perform various general administrative duties as assigned.
This is a great opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team in a rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate will have an excellent attitude and a desire to continuously learn and grow. This position is based out of our Manhattan Beach office location and will require regular in-office presence.
