About the role

Chime is building one of the most culturally relevant financial brands in the country. This role will define how we show up across sports, music, and entertainment — not as a sponsor, but as a meaningful brand presence that drives measurable business growth.

As Sr. Director of Strategic Partnerships & Branded Entertainment, you will build and lead Chime’s partnerships function. You will own strategy, brand and talent deals, activation plans, and performance accountability. This role reports to the VP of Brand & Creative and works closely with Growth, Product Marketing, Finance, and Legal to ensure partnerships translate into brand equity, customer acquisition, and long-term value.

This is a hands-on builder role. You will personally source, structure, and close high-impact deals while establishing the operating model for a high-performing team.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $239,000 and up to $330,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Define and scale Chime’s presence across sports, music, and entertainment in ways that make the brand culturally relevant and genuinely wanted
  • Identify, structure, and close high-impact partnerships with creators, leagues, teams, athletes, talent, studios, and platforms
  • Build a strategic roadmap for how Chime shows up in culture — including tentpole moments, episodic content,  long-term brand platforms, and emerging opportunities
  • Develop breakthrough activation and collaboration ideas in partnership with Brand & Creative teams that translate into culturally resonant storytelling
  • Integrate partnerships into major campaign moments and product launches to amplify brand impact
  • Build scalable frameworks for talent and ambassador partnerships, including content expectations and performance incentives
  • Own the full lifecycle of partnerships from sourcing through renewal, ensuring long-term relationship health
  • Establish clear evaluation criteria and investment guardrails to prioritize the right deals
  • Develop measurement systems that track brand lift, engagement, and downstream acquisition impact
  • Build the team, operating model, and external partner ecosystem required to grow the function over time

To thrive in this role, you have
