Sr Data Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Data Engineer based in United States. This senior data leadership role combines AWS data engineering expertise with deep finance domain knowledge to support complex analytics and reporting initiatives.You will lead discovery workshops, translate finance requirements into structured data specifications, and guide delivery across multiple workstreams.The role requires a strong understanding of financial processes, reporting principles, KPIs, reconciliations, and source-system data.You will work closely with data modelers, engineers, functional consultants, project leaders, and finance stakeholders to ensure business needs are accurately reflected in the data platform.A key focus will be validating curated data, resolving business definition gaps, and supporting UAT and stakeholder sign-offs.This contract opportunity is designed for an experienced data professional who can bridge technical teams and finance leaders while driving alignment across concurrent delivery waves.
