Sponsor Relations Director (Events)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sponsor Relations Director (Events) based in the United States. This is a player-coach leadership role overseeing sponsor and exhibitor relationships across a live events portfolio.You will manage a book of sponsor accounts, including large and complex partners, while remaining closely involved in day-to-day execution.The role owns sponsorship fulfillment from contract signature through post-event follow-up, ensuring deliverables, communications, and deadlines are consistently managed.You will lead and develop a small Sponsor Relations team while serving as an escalation point for complex account and event issues.The position works cross-functionally with sales, marketing, event operations, AV, registration, and external service partners.You will also contribute to sponsorship reporting, process improvements, inventory management, and rebooking opportunities.This is a fully remote opportunity with frequent travel to live events and extended on-site responsibilities.
