Software Engineer, Securities Finance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer, Securities Finance based in Brazil. We are looking for a backend-focused Software Engineer to develop and operate the systems powering securities lending, borrowing, and brokerage infrastructure. In this role, you will help build reliable financial technology that supports customer-facing products, short-selling capabilities, and critical internal operational processes. You will take ownership of projects from initial problem discovery through implementation, deployment, and ongoing production support. Working with a globally distributed engineering team, you will develop APIs, data pipelines, and integrations that enable new products and revenue opportunities. You will also help improve system reliability, scalability, and performance while deepening your understanding of securities finance, collateral, settlement, and market regulations.
