Software Engineer, AI/ML

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer, AI/ML based in Canada. This role is part of a product-focused team building AI and machine learning capabilities on top of a healthcare data platform. You’ll help shape AI strategy while designing, implementing, and evaluating advanced solutions that address complex customer and healthcare data requirements. The position combines software engineering, AI architecture, experimentation, and hands-on development in an Agile environment. You’ll work with technologies spanning RAG, semantic matching, document parsing, agentic systems, knowledge graphs, and AI evaluation frameworks. The role also involves close collaboration through code reviews, pair programming, technical discussions, and client interactions when needed. It offers the opportunity to influence technical strategy while delivering scalable, maintainable AI capabilities with meaningful real-world impact.
