Senior Telecommunications / Network Engineer

Support the modernization of approximately 40 distinct customer networks through complex telecommunications research, technical validation, and service transition planning.You will serve as a senior technical resource for network inventory analysis, requirements development, vendor solution evaluation, and service migrations.The role requires deep expertise across WAN transport, IP services, optical telecommunications, legacy infrastructure, and modern network technologies.You will advise government customers and program leadership on technical feasibility, performance trade-offs, budgets, and acquisition requirements.You will also coordinate with government agencies, carriers, and technical stakeholders throughout installation, activation, cutover, and legacy service disconnection.This is a remote role with a strong preference for candidates near Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, and requires availability during Central Time business hours.The position offers an opportunity to contribute...
