Senior Staff Attorney

This is a senior legal and policy role supporting local elected officials across a diverse national network.The position combines legal research, policy analysis, strategic advising, and movement-oriented advocacy.A major focus will be advancing immigrant justice through collaboration with local, state, and national partners.The role will also contribute to work across economic justice, housing, public safety, local democracy, and home rule.You will develop practical resources, advise members on complex policy questions, and help navigate state and federal preemption.The position offers opportunities to shape programs, lead working groups, and collaborate directly with leaders and impacted communities.This fully remote role requires regular travel to in-person events and reports to the Managing Director, Legal and Policy.
