Senior Software Engineer, MediaWiki Content Platform Team

Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, MediaWiki Content Platform Team based in Brazil. Join a fully remote engineering team building the technology behind one of the world’s largest sources of open knowledge. You’ll work on the Content Platform, evolving the wikitext infrastructure that powers collaborative editing and content experiences across hundreds of languages. The role combines complex software engineering with opportunities to improve performance, usability, reliability, and maintainability at massive scale. You’ll design and deliver systems used by hundreds of millions of people and collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, client teams, and community contributors. Your work will span parsing, language processing, APIs, caching, persistence, monitoring, and modern web technologies.
