Senior Software Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer based in India. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and operation of large-scale eCommerce, authentication, and infrastructure platforms running on AWS. You will work as a polyglot engineer, combining backend development with infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, deployment automation, and cloud-native technologies. The role involves designing and owning Java-based services and APIs while helping build reliable delivery workflows for mission-critical applications. You will work extensively with distributed systems, continuous deployment, GitOps practices, and modern observability tools. Collaboration with security and engineering teams will be essential to maintaining strong technical standards and regulatory compliance.
