Senior Software Engineer, Authorization

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Authorization based in India. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll design and deliver secure, scalable services that underpin modern identity and authorization capabilities.You’ll work primarily with Go, Node.js, and/or Python to build production-grade systems with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement of development practices.You’ll contribute to core authorization and IAM capabilities using technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and infrastructure-as-code.Working across multiple time zones, you’ll help drive clear technical decisions through strong documentation and asynchronous collaboration.You’ll also champion automated testing, CI/CD quality gates, observability, and reliable deployment practices.This is an opportunity to influence engineering standards while building security-critical software in a distributed, remote-first environment.
