Senior Software Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer based in Brazil. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a client-facing engineering team and take shared ownership of building, improving, and delivering production software.You will work closely with another senior engineer while collaborating directly with the client on a daily basis.The role combines hands-on backend development with server-rendered frontend work and REST/API integrations.You will be expected to independently manage your work, communicate timelines, identify risks, and help drive delivery without relying on a dedicated project-management layer.The environment values autonomy, strong communication, rapid learning, and pragmatic engineering decisions.You will need to become productive quickly within an existing codebase and establish effective working relationships with client stakeholders.This is a full-time independent contractor position, remote within Latin America, with compensation of $70,000–$80,000 USD per year, depending on experience.
