Senior Security Engineer, Platforms & AI

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Security Engineer, Platforms & AI based in Mexico. This is a senior, hands-on security engineering role focused on protecting production AI systems and the infrastructure that supports them.You will own the technical security posture across cloud infrastructure, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, applications, and AI-powered agents.The role combines platform security, vulnerability management, offensive security, monitoring, and incident response.You will also develop practical defenses against prompt injection, adversarial inputs, unsafe agent behavior, and data leakage.Working remotely with engineering teams and clients across Latin America, you will operate directly inside real production environments.The position offers significant technical ownership, exposure to modern AI tooling, and the opportunity to establish security controls that scale with rapidly evolving systems.Success in this role requires strong engineering fundamentals, sound security judgment, and the ability to communicate directly with both technical teams and clients.
