Senior Lighting Artist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Lighting Artist based in Canada. As a Senior Lighting Artist, you will shape the visual identity and atmosphere of a high-quality multiplayer game through realistic, immersive lighting.You will design and implement lighting across diverse indoor and outdoor environments, balancing artistic quality with gameplay clarity.The role combines strong artistic judgment with a solid understanding of real-time rendering, optimization, and technical constraints.You will collaborate closely with Environment Artists, Level Designers, Technical Artists, VFX Artists, Programmers, and Art Leadership.Your work will help establish mood, visual storytelling, navigation, player awareness, and immersion across different gameplay scenarios.You will also contribute to lighting workflows, best practices, documentation, and the continued evolution of the lighting pipeline.This is an opportunity to make a visible creative and technical impact within an experienced, collaborative game development team.
