Senior IT Cloud Systems Engineer

The role / impact You'll engineer AI-enabled solutions that make Xero's Productivity and Collaboration ecosystem smarter, safer and more scalable. You'll solve complex technical problems, contribute to engineering standards, and support other team members whilst building integrations, workflows, and guardrails that connect internal AI tools to the right systems and data. This role acts as a key point of contact for our production environment-you'll own significant technical challenges rather than work through a support queue. Your technical work will focus on current projects rather than routine tasks. You'll shape how AI tools interact with our productivity ecosystem, working across tools like Atlassian, Google Workspace, and Slack. Whilst mentoring is encouraged, this position is designed for people who want to stay hands-on and technical.
