Senior Database Administrator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Database Administrator based in India. This role is focused on managing and optimizing mission-critical PostgreSQL infrastructure across data center and AWS environments.You will design and maintain highly available database clusters supporting demanding trading and analytics platforms.The position combines database administration, infrastructure automation, performance engineering, observability, and production reliability.You will develop automated solutions for deployment, configuration, monitoring, backup, recovery, and database operations.Working closely with SRE, DevOps, and engineering teams, you will help improve scalability, resilience, and CI/CD integration.The role operates in a 24/7 production environment where reliability, minimal downtime, data integrity, and rapid incident response are essential.
