Senior Commercial Counsel

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel based in Romania. Join a lean, high-impact legal team supporting the commercial growth of a fast-moving AI technology business. In this role, you will lead complex enterprise transactions, partnerships, and strategic commercial agreements across international markets. You’ll work closely with sales, business development, leadership, and cross-functional teams to help accelerate growth while managing legal and commercial risk. The role combines hands-on deal-making with the opportunity to build scalable legal processes and frameworks from the ground up. You’ll advise on privacy, intellectual property, data security, AI-related legal matters, and cross-border data transfers. Working across the UK, EU, and APAC, you’ll have a meaningful role in shaping legal strategy in an evolving AI landscape.
