Senior ATIP Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior ATIP Specialist based in Canada. This is a high-impact contract opportunity focused on managing a large and complex Access to Information request within a government environment.You will take ownership of the file from planning and processing through consultations, interim releases, and final disclosure.The role requires a strong understanding of Canadian access-to-information legislation, policies, directives, and current ATIP practices.You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring that decisions are properly documented and legally defensible.The position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise to a significant, deadline-driven information management initiative.You will also contribute to improving organizational practices by documenting lessons learned from processing high-volume requests.Success in this role requires precision, sound judgment, strong organization, and the ability to manage complex workflows against a fixed deadline.
