DoorDash Drive is our company's hyper-growth platform team serving restaurants, grocers and retailers across the United States, Canada and Australia. The business line you’ll be supporting is fast-growing, fast-paced, and is obsessed with efficiency. As the network grows, we rely on two closely connected operational teams to ensure performance at both the site level and the network level:
Live Operations (LiveOps): LiveOps focuses on network-level performance across the entire parcel operation, which runs 24/7 across a portfolio of sites. The team builds the operational systems, monitoring structures, and escalation frameworks that allow the network to scale reliably and maximize quality outcomes in a 24 hour operational clock. This role works closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations leadership to identify quality gaps, design scalable processes, and ensure consistent performance across markets, informing Regional Operations and cross functional teams to areas of attention based on alerting signals.
Regional Operations: Regional Ops focuses on performance at the site level across a portfolio of third-party sortation warehouses within a specific region of the network. The team monitors daily performance, investigates operational issues, and partners directly with site operators to improve workflows, SOP adherence, and overall service levels based on trending data and contractual agreements. Much of the work involves turning data insights into on-the-ground operational improvements, supporting site launches, and helping partners run efficient, compliant operations.
About the Role
As a Senior Associate, you will play an integral role in ensuring the performance and reliability of DoorDash’s Parcel logistics network. Depending on team alignment, the role may focus on either regional site performance (Regional Ops) or network-level operational management (LiveOps). In either capacity, you will partner with internal teams and external operators to analyze performance, solve complex logistical challenges, and implement scalable solutions that improve service levels and operational efficiency. This role requires up to 25% travel.
