Senior AI Engineer, MapGPT

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior AI Engineer, MapGPT based in United States. The Senior AI Engineer, MapGPT will design and deliver multi-component AI systems that power advanced location, search, navigation, and developer experiences. You will work across teams and technology stacks, focusing your expertise on high-priority AI challenges wherever they have the greatest impact. The role combines software engineering, data engineering, LLM systems, evaluation, agent orchestration, and production operations. You will own technical design and delivery while establishing robust measurement frameworks for systems with non-deterministic behavior. Your work will span data pipelines, model and tool boundaries, evaluation systems, feedback loops, and performance optimization. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role in an environment where many technical questions are still evolving and where practical experimentation is encouraged.
