Senior Accountant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Accountant based in the Canada. This is a hands-on senior accounting role responsible for keeping day-to-day financial operations accurate, timely, and audit-ready.You will manage activities spanning accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, cash, expenses, reconciliations, and month-end close.The role offers broad ownership across the general ledger and close process, with regular collaboration across Finance and other business teams.You will work closely with senior finance leaders while having the autonomy to investigate issues, improve processes, and drive solutions.A key focus will be using automation and AI-enabled tools to reduce manual work and improve accounting efficiency and accuracy.The environment is remote-first, fast-moving, collaborative, and designed for professionals who enjoy ownership and continuous improvement.As the organization scales, the role provides opportunities to contribute to systems, controls, and accounting processes that support continued growth.
