Safety AV Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Safety AV Engineer based in Canada. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex, high-tech automotive projects focused on safety-critical advanced vehicle systems. You’ll support the design, analysis, and validation of safety features across ADAS, electrical and electronic architectures, actuators, and sensors. Your work will help ensure system robustness and compliance with functional safety standards throughout the development lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with software, electrical, and vehicle subsystem specialists in a multidisciplinary engineering environment. The position combines technical safety analysis with system verification, validation, requirements development, and failure-mode mitigation. Based in Montreal, it is well suited to engineers who want to work on advanced mobility technologies and contribute to systems where safety and reliability are fundamental.
