Position Overview

The Robotics Deployment Technician I (RDT I) plays a key role in installing, configuring, and deploying advanced robotic systems across client sites in the U.S. This position is ideal for technicians with foundational experience in mechanical and electrical systems who are ready to work independently in dynamic environments alongside a team of other technicians.

RDT I technicians ensure high-quality installations, perform troubleshooting, and contribute to the success of on-site deployment teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and deploy robotic and automation systems at client sites.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical integration of system components.
  • Configure hardware for optimal performance.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and field diagnostics.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical layouts.
  • Support client training on system operation and safety.
  • Document installation steps and configuration changes.
  • Assist in mentoring, training, and overseeing RDT Apprentices
  • Travel up to 80% of the time across the U.S. (potentially Canada).

Qualifications

  • HSD or GED
  • Technical training or coursework in Mechatronics, Robotics, or Industrial Technology a plus
  • 1–3 years of direct
