This role offers the opportunity to help build a new kind of local journalism experience for readers across the Phoenix community.You will report, curate, and create engaging digital storytelling that helps residents understand the forces shaping their region.Your work will combine original reporting with newsletters, social media, video, audio, data, events, and other formats.You will develop relationships with readers, local sources, community organizations, and media partners across Phoenix.The role calls for strong news judgment, audience awareness, curiosity, and a willingness to experiment with new ways of storytelling.You will collaborate with journalists across locations while having meaningful ownership over the tone, content, and community presence of the local newsletter.This is an opportunity for an experienced digital storyteller to help shape an evolving local journalism product and deepen connections with its audience.
