Quantum Computing Cryptography Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Quantum Computing Cryptography Engineer based in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of enterprise cybersecurity in an environment preparing for the rapidly evolving risks posed by quantum computing. You will provide specialized expertise across quantum information science, cryptography, and post-quantum cryptography (PQC). You’ll assess enterprise cryptographic environments and identify vulnerabilities to current and emerging quantum-enabled threats. The role will help define practical, risk-based strategies for modernizing cryptographic technologies across complex systems and infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, security teams, program leaders, and government stakeholders to drive secure transformation. Your work will contribute to crypto-agile architectures, migration planning, technical standards, and long-term cybersecurity resilience. This is a remote U.S.-based position with occasional onsite travel.
