Public Records Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Public Records Specialist based in India. This is a fully remote opportunity focused on researching and verifying U.S. public records as part of background screening operations. You will investigate local, state, and federal court records and carefully interpret legal information from official sources. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to distinguish between different charges, case types, statuses, and dispositions. You will contribute directly to the accuracy, quality, and compliance of background verification reports. This position is well suited to someone with prior U.S. public records or background verification experience who thrives in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
