Project Manager, Tax Compliance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager, Tax Compliance based in the United States. The Project Manager, Tax Compliance will oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-jurisdiction voluntary compliance engagements. This role is responsible for coordinating timelines, deliverables, client communication, and project governance while protecting service quality and compliance outcomes. As a key contributor within Client Services, you will manage multiple concurrent client portfolios and ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with agreed service levels. You will work closely with tax professionals, data consultants, state tax authorities, account teams, and sales partners to resolve issues and maintain smooth execution. The position also emphasizes operational excellence, using AI and automation tools to improve productivity, transparency, and communication.
