WebStorm is JetBrains’ IDE for JavaScript and TypeScript, used by developers building modern web and Node.js applications.
We are now looking for a passionate, creative, and open-minded Product Marketing Manager to drive marketing activities for WebStorm and the broader web ecosystem. In this role, you will support WebStorm’s marketing efforts by shaping positioning and messaging, supporting go-to-market launches, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring clear, developer-focused stories to market.
Responsibilities
Positioning and messaging:
- Own and evolve WebStorm’s positioning and messaging, keeping it consistent across channels and aligned with product and business strategy.
- Translate product strengths into clear, developer-focused narratives and key messages for campaigns, launches, and content.
Campaigns and marketing execution:
- Lead go-to-market planning for releases and key initiatives, defining the plan, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution end to end.
- Create launch-ready assets for core channels (website updates, release posts, newsletters, and enablement-style materials), ensuring quality and consistency.
- Maintain a content release calendar and ensure marketing activities are delivered on time.
Market and customer insights:
- Gather and synthesize market and customer insights, turning them into actionable recommendations for messaging, content priorities, and go-to-market decisions.
- Track performance of key marketing activities and use insights to iterate and improve outcomes.
Cross-functional collaboration:
- Partner closely with Product, Developer Advocacy, Research, Sales, and Marketing teams to keep priorities aligned and execution smooth.
- Drive the creation of high-quality product-related content and materials with cross-functional partners.
