We're looking for an experienced Product Manager, Payments to lead the strategy and execution of the core payments platform and experiences that underpin the Whatnot marketplace. You will own the systems that power how buyers pay, how sellers get paid, and how money moves through our ecosystemβ€”processing billions in annual GMV across 50+ categories and enabling payouts to tens of thousands of sellers globally.

In this role, you will work across the full payments stack, from payment initiation and processing to payouts, refunds, financial data infrastructure, and incentive instruments. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Finance, Trust & Safety, Legal, CX, Operations, and other product teams to deliver capabilities that unlock growth while maintaining strong financial controls and managing risk.

You will report to a VP of Product. Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA, or Los Angeles, CA hubs.

You will:

- Own the product vision and roadmap for Payments, balancing short-term wins with long-term platform investments that support extremely fast growth and international expansion.

- Deeply understand stakeholder needs – from sellers managing their businesses to Finance teams closing monthly books to CX resolving refund disputes; and translate them into clear product strategies and scalable systems.

- Define and own core payments metrics including authorization rates, payout success, refund rates, processing costs, and financial accuracy. Use these to guide prioritization and measure
