Principal SRE Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal SRE Engineer based in the United States. This is a senior technical leadership role focused on building a reliable, scalable, and agile enterprise hybrid application platform.You will bridge platform engineering and database teams while developing self-service tooling and automation for cloud-based infrastructure.The role combines hands-on engineering with strategic ownership of CI/CD, infrastructure automation, observability, security, and deployment practices.You will work across engineering, infrastructure, application development, security, QA, governance, and business teams to modernize technology and improve delivery.Your expertise will help establish resilient platforms, streamline software delivery, and strengthen operational excellence across the organization.The environment values innovation, continuous improvement, curiosity, and strong cross-functional collaboration.This is a fully remote U.S. opportunity with potential in-person interview requirements and participation in 24/7 mission-critical support as needed.
