We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of AWS services, particularly Amazon EKS, and experience with configuring worker nodes and managing availability regions. Additionally, the candidate should be well-versed in API gateways, specifically Apigee. Proficiency in English for both speaking and reading is essential. Knowledge of SAP Commerce or eCommerce capabilities/transactions and Node.js is highly desired.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architecture using AWS services.
- Configure and manage Amazon EKS clusters, including worker nodes and availability regions.
- Implement and manage API gateways, with a focus on Apigee.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on AWS services.
- Strong understanding of Amazon EKS, including configuring worker nodes and managing availability regions.
- Experience with API gateways, particularly Apigee.
- Proficiency in English (both speaking and reading).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of SAP Commerce or eCommerce capabilities/transactions.
- Experience with Node.js.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud architecture.
