The Power System Engineer III will contribute to the design and modernization of complex electrical grids, with a strong focus on renewable energy integration.The role centers on generation and load interconnection studies across the Western Electricity Coordinating Council footprint.You will evaluate grid capacity, system impacts, and interconnection strategies for projects involving solar PV, battery energy storage, and wind generation.The position combines detailed power system modeling, engineering analysis, project execution, and client collaboration.You will work with industry-standard tools such as PSS/E, PSLF, and PSCAD to develop and validate sophisticated generation models.There are also opportunities to contribute to specialized studies, innovative engineering methodologies, and the organization’s technical knowledge base.This is an opportunity to help shape a more sustainable, secure, and resilient power grid while working with experienced energy professionals.
