Portfolio Accounting Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Portfolio Accounting Analyst based in Canada. This role sits at the intersection of investment operations, accounting, and financial reporting within a sophisticated institutional investment environment. You will support the accounting and reconciliation of a large public investment portfolio spanning fixed income, public loans, hedge funds, and derivative instruments. Your work will help ensure the accuracy of valuations, cash flows, accounting entries, and financial records across multiple systems and external partners. You will collaborate with custodians, investment managers, brokers, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve discrepancies. The position combines detailed transactional work with opportunities to improve policies, procedures, and accounting processes.
